The London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard  LLGS
For information, support and referrals, LLGS provides a phone service across the UK to anyone who may be confused about their sexuality, and to lesbians, bisexuals, gay men, transsexuals and straight people wanting information on gay issues.

The Gender Trust

Offering support services to families where there is a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender issue.

The Transgender Zone
Providing information and support to anyone confused about their gender, plus support from other transgender people.

Gendered Intelligence
Gender Intelligence aims to increase understanding of gender diversity, and has a Trans Youth Support Group.

Online information for trans people, their families and professionals, including a downloadable version of NHS booklet Medical Care For Gender Variant Children and Young People: Answering Families Questions.

A self-help organisation for anyone who crossdresses or are transsexual.

Providing advice and support to family members, spouses, partners and friends of transsexual people.

Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays – FFLAG
Offering  support to parents, families, straight partners and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.

Get Connected
A helpline and email service for young people, helping them to find the best support whatever the issue.

Information on call charges to 08 numbers:
0800 – Free from BT land lines. Other networks may charge and mobile costs will be incurred.
0808 – Free from BT land lines. Other networks may charge and mobile costs will be incurred.
0845 – Calls cost 4ppm daytime and 1ppm evening and weekends plus a 12.5p set up charge per call from a BT landline. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will cost considerably more.
0844 – Calls cost 5p per minute plus a 12.5p set up charge per call from a BT landline. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will cost considerably more.
