TAKE IT WHEN IT’S OFFERED: I was called a “lovely lad” yesterday and had this come from an older fatherly or even grandfatherly man, I’d have taken it ( as it were). The comment was from a 17 year old prospective student on his interview feedback form. Clearly he didn’t see the bald man with a grey beard in front of him and only saw the extremely tired hyper interviewer who put a positive slant on everything in a bid to successfully sign him up and run for the earlier train. I’ll take it as a compliment but haven’t been a lad for a very long time.
