WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY?

HELLO FRIENDS – As an educator and as an equality advocate, my mission has always been to promote an awareness that there is value in protecting dignity and in defending human rights; in developing personal efficacy and empowering individuals and groups, students and colleagues, to value themselves and each other and to consciously weave human rights principles into their own personal and professional lives in terms of words and actions, as a means to ensuring that dignity is afforded to all who belong to their community and that respect for differences is not just valued but celebrated.

I have a keen eye on injustice and an awareness of the subtle prejudices which can create professional discomfort and personal distress.

The only meaningful purpose to life is to have a significantly positive influence upon the well-being and sense of dignity that is experienced by our fellow man and as such I am passionately committed to promoting the individual, social and wider, far-reaching benefits of Diversity education.

This life is an opportunity to play a significant part in raising an awareness of the importance of human rights education as a means to protecting and promoting human rights. I have always endeavoured to utilise creative and innovative strategies to promote shared ownership of cultural enhancement and encourage community cohesion and I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with you…WHAT DO YOU DO TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND CELEBRATE DIVERSITY?
