SHERRI GRAY – A TRULY INSPIRING WOMAN

SO TOUCHED BY THIS MESSAGE FROM SOMEONE I’VE NEVER MET, BUT SOMEONE WHO IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD:

Hi, David…i am a 73 y/o peaceful activist, and LGBT rights is one area about which i feel passionate. Last year (5/31/13), Joe Morgan, of Gay Star News featured my marriage equality song in the ‘GSN Loves’ segment of their online publication, and the song has received positive comments from all over the world. It was performed by Common Woman Chorus in Durham, NC here last November, and i performed it (along with my ‘reparative therapy’ parody) in Sydney, AU 2 months ago on Fair Day – the opening of the G&L Mardi Gras Festival. I’m respectfully requesting that you consider including the song in future presentations. Here’s the site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZM9iPJtzyM#t=186

The title is, “What If We Are Just Like You?” – and the parody song is entitled, “Let Us Help You Pray The ‘Straight’ Away”.

I am so enjoying doing my part to influence positive change in the world by writing and performing music and speaking out about issues which deserve more love and attention than they’ve received in the past.

Thank you for you time, David, and for tirelessly working for all of us.

Sincerely,

Sherri Gray
