BEST OF CRAIGSLIST #3: Thou art gone, sweet ghetto hot tub

“And With That, She Is Gone…
Sweet ghetto hot tub

you came to me

on Craigslist free

now I doth release thee
Bereft of chemicals

my love and I did soak

in waters most sublime

with nary a poke
Her pump is broken

her redwood old

she spurts and gurgles

at 110 VAC– or so I’m told
Ask not for me to move her

for she is of great girth

Mention not her broken parts

She is priced what she is worth
Yet she doth hold water

well as her maiden voyage

filled from the tank

in one’s garage
You haul

You clean

You become

A contented human being”
