Giving Hope is the human response in dark times – #WeAreOrlando

Editing the book is going well, despite pressures of other work commitments.
I’m more determined than ever with the recent tragedy in Orlando.
Just when you think the world is making progress, there’s a reminder that fatal bigotry is lurking.
We are not yet out of the woods and must not be fooled by discriminatory anti-Islamic rhetoric to feel that our enemies are of one religious or political persuasion.
Incitement to hate is endemic in the world and all hate speech is responsible for provoking murderous rage against minorities.
Extremism in the name of any God is still extremism.
We are stronger together and must not turn anger into fear.
Every bigot who calls for the oppression and eradication of any other human, for whatever reason, is responsible for the culture of division and supremacy that we struggle to exist in.
The book is the older sibling of the Give ’em Hope Campaign:
