The proposed Tory relationship with the DUP will be a toxic one for our country. It is underhand and unethical for the Tories to scrape together a “majority” with an historically bigoted party who have openly oppressed minorities. There is no integrity in this decision and the decision is deeply undemocratic. A Tory “majority” achieved in this underhanded way is not legitimate and smacks of utter desperation. Our government exists to represent the people – the MANY, not the FEW.
